I have three friends that I took a trip in the car to Laytown beach a month ago. When we were there,
we went into the sea, and we found a new discovery –
An animal about a metre long, with ….
a yellow tail,
a black mouth
a white body
a blue head
and green eyes.
It was alive and it looked harmless.
We took a little video of it and we even touched it.
We went back to the beach. We watched the video in great excitement. We got dressed and had a
picnic and we went back home. We did some research on the computer and couldn’t find anything
about it.
We decided to name it ‘The Colour Splash Water Fish’.
Mum put it online to a newspaper. I wasn’t expecting that in the next few days, I would have….
the house doorbell rung 10 times
5 phone-calls from radio stations and newspapers
4 interviews planned
and 3 scientists came to our house.
What a discovery!
